    Wrap Hack

    BY Ayeh Manfre · UPDATED: May 16, 25 · PUBLISHED: Apr 11, 21 · 18 Comments

    JUMP TO RECIPE

This is my collection of Wrap Hack trend recipes I have been obsessed with for breakfast, lunch, dessert, and many more.

If you’re looking for a fun way to take your lunch wraps & quesadillas to a whole new level you’re in the right place. This is my collection of Wrap Hack recipes which was inspired by this creative fold-over wrap idea that I saw on TikTok.

I was so intrigued and wanted to create a healthier vegetarian version. I started by making a crispy tofu lunch wrap and was absolutely mind blown by how great it tasted and how easy it was to make, not to mention the benefits of this folding technique!

Need more healthy lunch ideas? Then you must try my Grinder Salad, Greek Salad and Healthy Tuna Salad.

Ever since, I’ve been completely obsessed and have been enjoying different variations such as breakfast, lunch, dessert, and my favourite so far is the pizza wrap.

The great thing is you can change the fillings to any of your favourites and you can also use your preferred wrap such as a tortilla, seeded wraps, spinach wraps, the options are endless.

    Pizza Wrap

    The Folding Wrap Hack Method

Start by making a cut halfway up a tortilla/wrap. Then place your fillings and toppings into each quarter.

Now for the fun part, carefully fold each quarter on top of each other to create a pocket starting from the bottom quarter where the cut is. Then toast in a sandwich press or pan. Note, if using a pan press the top down with a spatula, then flip and repeat.

By folding the corners of the wraps inwards, the fillings stay in their own quarters rather than being all mixed. The fillings also don’t fall out the bottom when eating it, making it a much cleaner eating experience. I also found it fits more fillings in this way which is a bonus!

    Pizza Wrap (Before)

    Pizza Wrap

This pizza wrap tastes just like an actual pizza, but much lighter and quicker to make.

Here are the ingredients I used:

    • Pizza sauce topped with sliced mushrooms and seasoned with dried oregano
    • Vegan Pepperoni (you can substitute with actual pepperoni/salami if you are not vegan/vegetarian)
    • Freshly grated cheese
    • Diced cherry tomatoes topped with fresh basil leaves
    Crispy Tofu Wrap (Before)

    Crispy Tofu Wrap

This is my vegan version of a chicken schnitzel wrap. It's healthy, packed full of protein and so crispy and tasty.

Here are the ingredients I used:

    • Crispy tofu as the protein, which has been crumbed and air-fried. I then topped it with a quick sauce made of barbeque sauce, apple cider vinegar, and mayonnaise.
    • Butter lettuce topped with homemade pickled onions
    • Sliced tomato
    • Freshly grated cheese, ensure to use vegan cheese to keep this wrap vegan
    Breakfast Wrap

    Breakfast Wrap

The perfect wrap for a quick and easy breakfast. It's fresh, packed with protein and healthy fats. Great to kick start your day and is filling as well.

Here are the ingredients I used:

    • ¼ Avocado, smashed with the back of a fork which I then topped with homemade Everything Bagel Seasoning
    • 1-2 scrambled eggs, topped with barbeque sauce or you can use ketchup (this is a separate debate 🙂 )
    • Freshly grated cheese
    • Sliced tomato
    Breakfast Wrap (Before)

    Breakfast Wrap 2

I love having hashbrowns for Sunday breakfast, so I just had to include them in this fun wrap.

Here are the ingredients I used:

    • ¼ of sliced avocado
    • 1 scrambled egg topped with barbeque sauce
    • 1 hashbrown cut in half
    • Slice of cheddar cheese
    Breakfast Wrap 2

    Mexican Crunch Wrap

If you're looking for an extra crunchy wrap then you have to try my Mexican inspired version.

Here are the ingredients I used:

    • Guacamole topped with lettuce
    • Corn chips for that crunch
    • Black beans topped with pico de gallo and chipotle sauce
    • Freshly grated cheese
    Mexican Wrap (Before)
    Mexican Wrap

    Hummus Wrap Hack

One of my favourite things to make is hummus, so naturally, I had to make this wrap. The key is to use fresh Lebanese/Pita bread.

Here are the ingredients I used:

    • Hummus spread all over the wrap with a light drizzle of olive oil
    • Sliced tomatoes and cucumbers
    • Fresh mint
    • Homemade pickled onions
    Hummus Wrap

    Persian Wrap

This is my Persian twist which is healthy, fresh, and requires no cooking. I’ve grown up eating this sandwich since I was a kid, it’s the perfect combination of flavours in every bite!

Here are the ingredients I used:

    • Fresh Pita/Lebanese flatbread
    • Persian feta
    • Walnuts
    • Fresh mint leaves
    • Sliced tomatoes & cucumbers

You can also make it vegan by using Vegan feta

    Dessert Wrap Hack

When your craving something sweet and wanting a quick and easy dessert, this is the one. I don't have a huge sweet tooth myself so I find this combination perfect as it includes a mixture of fruit, sweet and salty all in one bite.

Here are the ingredients I used:

    • Crunky natural peanut butter
    • Sliced banana
    • Sliced strawberries and once toasted this will taste like strawberry jam!
    • Nutella or alternatively stay tuned will be sharing my healthy homemade Nutella. I then topped it with some crushed hazelnuts for that extra crunch

I think I’m in love. This is going to make any meal quick to fix when I don’t feel like cooking. I use my waffle iron sometimes for smaller sandwiches but I’ll do these in a regular pan. Thank you. Brilliant.
