Here's how to make the best Homemade Pita Chips in less than 10 minutes! They turn out crunchy, golden and so much better than store-bought using your oven or air fryer. Perfect to scoop into red pepper hummus, tzatziki or any dip!

If you're a dip fan like I am, then you need to start making Pita Chips at home. I always have a dip in my fridge - no kidding! I switch them up on a little rotation but my favorites I make on repeat are hummus, cacik yogurt dip and my white bean dip. But, you can't enjoy a dip without something to scoop it up with right? That's when this pita chips recipe comes to the rescue!
Trust me when I say, once you start making homemade pita chips, you won't buy them again. They're crazy easy to make and taste so much better than store-bought chips. They're also much healthier and cheaper too, plus you can enjoy them warm when fresh out of the oven, which is my weakness. There's only one big problem, they're super addictive and when you have one you cant stop! You can even make air-fryer or oven baked pita chips too.
I first started making pita chips when I had leftover stale pita bread, as its a great way to revive them without food waste. These days though, I buy a loaf of pita bread just to make pita chips ☺️. Here I've shared my classic simple seasoning but you can get creative and add any flavor you like. Plus you don't only have to use them as a dipper, you can enjoy them with soups in place of croutons, with protein power bowls and many more - check out my extensive list below.
