With fingers, tear off kale leaves into bite size pieces and wash well.
Place leaves into a salad spinner or in between kitchen towels to ensure they are completely dry. This will ensure they turn out crispy.
Place into a bowl and add olive oil and seasoning. You can add any seasoning you like, I love the combination of salt and garlic powder.
With your fingers, massage the oil and seasoning to the kale. This helps soften the kale.
Oven
Place on a baking tray with baking paper and lay kale out, ensuring kale leaves aren't overlapping. Bake for about 7-8 minutes in the oven at 180°C/350°F
Air Fryer
Add kale to the air fryer and cook for 2 minutes at 180°C/350°F. Take them out, shake and check if they have turned crispy. If not, place in for another 30 seconds and check again. They can burn very quickly so keep an eye on them
