Chocolate bark is the perfect healthy dessert to keep in your fridge! The flavor combinations are endless and I'm here to show you some of my favorites
Roughly chop the chocolate and melt using the double boiler method. Place in a heat safe bowl over a small saucepan or pot with simmering water to melt. Stir gently with a spatula until chocolate is fully melted and there are no lumps then take off the heat. (You can also melt the chocolate in the microwave)
Then follow steps for your preferred flavor
Snickers Chocolate Bark
Deseed the dates and cut them into small pieces. You can also use scissors
Add the chopped dates and peanuts to the melted chocolate bowl and stir together until well combined and everything is nicely coated in the melted chocolate
Place parchment paper in a rectangular dish or tin and pour in the chocolate mixture. Flatten the top with a spatula to create a flat even layer (you can also tap the dish to help it flatten)
Using a teaspoon, add small dollops of peanut butter scattered around the bark. Then using a toothpick, make swirls on the peanut butter. You can get as fancy or as rustic as you like. Top with a sprinkle of flaky salt
Place in the freezer to set for an hour, or in the fridge for 2-3 hours. Once it's fully set, place on a chopping board and carefully cut into smaller pieces. Enjoy your chocolate bark!
