Add cooked chickpeas, garlic, tahini, extra virgin olive oil, salt, lemon juice and the peeled and pitted avocado to a food processor / blender.
Blend until a purée is formed. If the mixture is too thick, add the ice cubes and a splash of ice-cold water and blend again. This will help it get nice and smooth.
Serve in a bowl and with a spoon create a well or dipped design on the top. Garnish with red chili flakes and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
