Tirokafteri is a Greek spicy feta dip that is jam packed with flavor! Creamy feta cheese pairs so well with the roasted red peppers and chilli and takes only 5 minutes to make! It will transport you straight to Greece
5oz / 140gdrained jarred roasted red peppers (or you can roast the red bell peppers yourself)
1-2red chili peppers
1 ½tablespoonsextra virgin olive oil
1tablespoonred wine vinegar
1garlic clove
Garnish (optional) -feta cheese, fresh parsley, red pepper flakes and extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
In a small food processor, add the feta cheese, drained roasted red peppers, olive oil, red wine vinegar, garlic and red chilies (I usually suggest to start with one chili, and add the 2nd later if needed) Blend until smooth and creamy
Give it a taste test and adjust the spice level or any seasonings. Serve in a pretty serving dish and add some garnish such as feta cheese, parsley, red pepper flakes and drizzle of olive oil.Enjoy your creamy Tirokafteri alongside pita chips, bread and veggie sticks with a side of Greek salad and tzatziki
