1 can (15oz / 430g)chickpeas/garbanzo beans - drained
1tablespoonextra virgin olive oil
1teaspoonsmoked paprika
½teaspoonground cumin
½teaspoongarlic powder
½teaspoonsalt and pinch of black pepper
Instructions
Drain and dry chickpeas thoroughly in between a kitchen towel, picking out any loose skins
Add them to a bowl with all remaining ingredients and stir to coat all the chickpeas
Air Fryer
Preheat air fryer to 400°F/200°C. Add the chickpeas, spreading to a single layer and air fry for for 10-12 minutes - shaking half way.Check the chickpeas, if they aren't crispy enough cook for an extra minute or so
Turn off the air fryer and let them rest inside for 5 minutes to help them dry out more and become extra crispy
Oven
Pre-heat oven to 425°F/ 220°C. Place chickpeas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spreading them out to a single layerBake for 18-20 minutes, stirring them half way. Check the chickpeas, if they aren't crispy enough cook for an extra minute or so
Once ready, turn the heat off and let them rest in the oven for 5 minutes to help them dry out more and become extra crispy
